Jazz coach Tyrone Corbin will likely be planted in front of his television Wednesday night, watching the NBA playoff double-header matching New York and Miami and the L.A. Clippers and Memphis.

For Corbin, keeping an eye on the teams still alive in this postseason is the beginning of next season.

After San Antonio swept the Jazz out of the playoffs, Corbin was asked when he would begin preparations for next year's 82-game regular season.

"It's started already," Corbin said. "The playoffs are going on, so we're studying. ... I enjoy basketball. I watch games. I enjoy watching games. But I'm also picking up stuff. I'm studying coaches. I 'm studying strategy. I'm looking at plays. I'm looking at match-ups and tweaks that different guys make at different times. So this is a great time of the year for me, personally, to continue to grow -- to continue to learn."

Corbin continued: "I don't consider it work. It's what I do. I enjoy doing it. I need to get better. I need to understand situations -- just continue to see if there are things that other teams are doing that we need to incorporate. Whatever it is that gives us a chance to get better, then I want to make sure ... we at least consider it."
