• Occupy SLC joins the world in marking May Day with a rally and march, starting at the City-County Building, 400 South and State Street, Salt Lake City. The rally starts at 4 p.m., with the march to the Utah State Capitol at 5 p.m. Free.

• Metal band Psychostick performs at Kilby Court, 741 S. Kilby Court (330 West), Salt Lake City. Opening acts: Downtown Brown, Dead Revelator, Perish Lane, Project Blackthorn. Show starts at 6. Tickets are $15, at 24Tix.

• L.A.-via-BYU pop-rock band Imagine Dragons performs at In the Venue, 219 S. 600 West, Salt Lake City. Show starts at 7. The show is sold out.
