Verizon and Comcast have announced a joint deal for northern Utah in which customers can get incentives for signing up for a combination of cable TV, Internet and wireless services.

Depending on the package chosen, Utahns from Logan to Orem could receive a pre-paid Visa card worth $50 to $300, a complimentary one-year upgrade to faster Xfinity Internet service or double the 4G LTE data plan from Verizon.

The deals are available by signing up through any of 13 Verizon stores in Salt Lake County, according to Verizon officials.

In addition to the Wasatch Front, the partnership deal also was announced for Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Kansas City and Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minn.
