Class 5A

1. American Fork • Outscored Lone Peak an amazing 26-3 in series

2. Bingham • Miners have yet to sweep a Region 3 series this season

3. Alta • Showed grit in a pair of one-run wins against rival Jordan

4. Syracuse • Starting pitchers Cobabe, Johnson and Jourdan look legit

5. Jordan • Despite dropping the series, hung with Hawks with its bats

Class 4A

1. Maple Mountain • Can clinch a region title by sweeping Skyhawks

2. Salem Hills • Taylor Snyder has been swinging for the fences

3. Skyline • Ground out a tough series closer with a walkoff homer

4. Logan • Rainout pushes critical Mountain Crest game back to Monday

5. Woods Cross • Beat up on East with some late rallying at the plate

Class 3A

1. Spanish Fork • Kayden Porter having no trouble going yard in Region 12

2. Snow Canyon • If forfeits hold, a huge blow to Warriors' title hopes

3. Juan Diego • Proved they are still elite with wins against Park City

4. Stansbury • Grantsville should be tough, but a region sweep is possible

5. Canyon View • Favorite now to host a first-round site for Region 9

Class 2A

1. Gunnison • On a 10-game winning streak, the hands-down favorites

2. Millard • Not picking a good time to drop a few games, but still strong

3. Emery • Won a Region 15 title, and its pitching is close to top-notch

4. Beaver • Offense picked back up in wins over Milford and Richfield

5. Kanab • Nicked by the Beavers, but has been one of 2A's better hitting teams
