1. American Fork • Looked solid this week in a sweep of Pleasant Grove

2. Bingham • Needs to swing the bats better in series against Cavemen

3. Copper Hills • Ben Wright saved Grizzlies’ bacon with pitching

4. Alta • Hitting well but could stand to clean up some errors

5. Pleasant Grove • One plate touch away from winning Friday’s game

Class 4A

1. Maple Mountain • Ninth-inning rally delivered win against Timpview

2. Skyline • Outscored Westlake 26-5 in this week’s series

3. Cyprus • Leading Region 6, but six of next eight are on the road

4. Springville • Gets to challenge Golden Eagles for region supremacy

5. Logan • Grizzlies are 4-1 in games decided by two runs or fewer

Class 3A

1. Spanish Fork • Only 2-2 in Hard 9 Classic, but very strong at the plate

2. Snow Canyon • Got shocked by Desert Hills and was error-prone

3. Juan Diego • Kade Wagner and Croyden Carr shut down Uintah’s lineup

4. Park City • Showed some late-inning juice in series against Judge

5. Stansbury • Region opponents are averaging fewer than two runs per game

Class 2A

1. Gunnison • Still have not allowed a run in five region wins

2. Millard • Brenden Turner’s bat helped deliver win over Manti on Friday

3. San Juan • Recently struggled with the sticks against Emery and Richfield

4. Enterprise • Suddenly the defending champs are on a five-game streak

5. Beaver • Should be challenged by Parowan and Millard this week
