An Earth Day Festival will explode Sunday, April 22, at Liberty Park in Salt Lake City. It will offer live music by Bronco and singer-songwriter Jen Hajj, food from the legendary Chow Truck and other vendors and those indispensable kid distractors with face painting and balloon animals .
For adults (the fest is sponsored by HEAL Utah, after all) local green groups, businesses and services will offer information on Utah’s ongoing environmental battles.
It all happens in the Liberty Park Special Events Field, just east of the park center—a hop, skip and jump from ground zero of Salt Lake’s Chevron oil spill.
