Utah's gymnastics team placed five gymnasts on the 2012 Pac-12 Conference Academic team released Thursday. Cortni Beers, Hailee Hansen and Stephanie McAllister made the first team and Mary Beth Lofgren was on the second team. Corrie Lothrop earned honorable mention.
The eighth-ranked Utes are preparing to host the NCAA Regional Championships Saturday, starting at 6 p.m. in the Huntsman Center.

Friday's practices at the Huntsman Center are open to the public.
Practice sessions are as follows:
1:15-3 p.m. - Utah, Nebraska, Iowa State
4-5:45 p.m. - Minnesota, Arizona State, San Jose State
