NewReleaseTuesday.com (NRT), one of the largest Christian music sites online, just released the site's third application, "NRT Weekly."

The app is available now as a free download through Apple's iTunes Store and is optimized for the iPad as well as available for the iPhone and the iPod Touch.

The app was developed in partnership with Word Entertainment—an entertainment company that represents some of the top names and brands in Christian music.

"NRT Weekly is the culmination of the hard work our entire team has done over the past five years as we've sought to build the best Christian music site online," states NRT founder, Kevin McNeese, in a press release. "Our previous app, NRT Mobile, is more informative and static, connecting to our massive Christian artist and album databases, whereas NRT Weekly is a content rich app, updating every Tuesday with new content to explore. It is a natural progression of what we do and a great way for the casual, or even hardcore, Christian music fan to quickly digest the latest that NRT and the world of Christian music has to offer each week." NRT Weekly's new app seeks to share with fans what's new in Christian music each week.

Word Entertainment represents some of the top names and brands in Christian music, including Meredith Andrews, Chris August, BarlowGirl, Francesca Battistelli, Big Daddy Weave, Jason Castro, Patrick Ryan Clark, Everfound, For King and Country, Group 1 Crew, Dara Maclean, Point Of Grace and Sidewalk Prophets.
