The First: Jazz 24, Timberwolves 20

Utah closes the quarter on a 10-2 run to take control. Things open up when Ty Corbin goes to his bench, as the Jazz start to assert themselves inside the paint and on the perimeter.

The Second: Jazz 53, Timberwolves 47

Derrick Favors finishes the first half with 12 rebounds, two off his career-high. Paul Millsap and Devin Harris score 10 points each and Gordon Hayward has eight off the bench. The Jazz lead by as many as 10 points in the second period.

The Third: Jazz 77, Minnesota 71

The Jazz close the quarter on a run, and once again get a lift from their bench. Favors, heading into the fourth quarter, has a career-best 15 rebounds. Alec Burks has come off the bench for 11 points and Utah's defense is enough to stave off Minnesota's initial rally.

The Fourth: Jazz 99, Minnesota 99

Paul Millsap misses a point-blank lay-up that would've won it for Utah at the buzzer. The Jazz surrender a double-digit fourth period lead as the Timberwolves go on a 3-point barrage.

Overtime: Jazz 111, Minnesota 105

Gordon Hayward salts the game away at the free-throw line, and Millsap makes a huge jumper as the Jazz rally from what would've been a hard defeat to deal with. The Jazz improve to 21-22 on the season.
