Snowbird will host the 26th annual Steve Young Ski Classic Saturday to raise funds for the Wasatch Adaptive Sports programs.

Young, the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback, is among a group of NFL players and Olympians who will ski against Wasatch Adaptive Sports participants in a dual giant slalom format on the Gad Valley Race Hill starting at 10 a.m.

There is no fee to watch this event, accessed from Snowbird’s entry one or two.

The event also includes an evening fundraiser at the Cliff Lodge that includes a silent and live auction, awards, dinner and a participant program.

Participants include former Utah Jazz center Mark Eaton, University of Utah football coach Kyle Whittingham and Paralympian Chris Waddell.
