Jazz guard Raja Bell, who has been bothered with soreness in his left knee, is expected to play in Wednesday night's game at Phoenix.
Team officials announced Tuesday that results of an MRI examination showed "mild changes" in the structure of his knee. But the changes were called "consistent with someone of his NBA experience level" by Dr. Lyle Mason.
Midway through his 12th season in the NBA, Bell has appeared in 31 of the Jazz's 41 games. He averages 6.7 points and 1.5 rebounds in 23.9 minutes. He is shooting a career-high 47.5 percent from the field.
