The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service are hosting the annual Tundra Swan Day on Saturday, March 10, at three locations: Farmington Bay Waterfowl Management Area, Salt Creek Waterfowl Management Area and the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge.
The free event is held in conjunction with the annual spring migration of tundra swans as they return to the Arctic to nest and rear young.
Wildlife officials will be on hand with spotting scopes and to answer questions from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Farmington Bay and Salt Creek. Viewing at Bear River Refuge will go from sunrise to sunset.
