The Radio From Hell Film Festival will screen Wednesday, Feb. 29, at the Tower Theatre, 876 E. 900 South, Salt Lake City.
The festival — organized by the folks at X96’s popular morning show — has a few rules for its films: Each must be between three and five minutes, and include a ceiling fan and the phrase “save the soil” (either in dialogue or in print somewhere onscreen).
The best film, chosen by a jury, will win its maker a trip for two to the Coachella Music Festival, with airfare, hotel and tickets to the festival.
The festival starts with a reception at 6 p.m., with food from Faustina restaurant, and the films start screening at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10, at the Tower box office.
