Marriott International Inc., the Bethesda, Md.-based lodging chain, said a SpringHill Suites by Marriott hotel will be opening in Draper on Friday.

The 124-suite hotel, which will be known as the SpringHill Suites Salt Lake City Draper, is at 12111 S. State St.

It will operate as a Marriott franchise. The property is owned and will be managed by Woodbury Corp. of Salt Lake City.

The hotel offers a business center, same-day dry cleaning, guest laundry facilities, an indoor swimming pool and whirlpool spa, 1,600 square feet of meeting space and a fitness center.

The SpringHill Suites by Marriott brand was launched in 1998 and has more than 280 locations in the United States and Canada.
