The Salty Cricket Composers Collective of new music composers in Utah always has something of interest on the back-shelf, just waiting to fall on your stove top or entertainment counter.

Case in point this month is the Collective's "Braodway Bound?" program, showcasing a fully-formed, fully-staged musical scene taken from five whole productions created and composed by Utah composers, book-writers and lyricists. Directed by Laura Crosset, this should prove a fascinating look into the future of not just Utah composers, but future Utah theater.
