Harris misses Jazz practice with stomach flu
The Jazz returned to practice Friday morning, less than 12 hours after a 94-91 loss to Dallas snapped their three-game winning streak.
Point guard Devin Harris, who scored one point and was 0-for-7 from the field against the Mavericks, was sent home with the stomach flu.
Forward Josh Howard, who has been sidelined with a strained quad, was scheduled to practice on a limited basis. He called himself "day-to-day," although the Jazz officially listed him as a "game-time decision" Saturday night against Minnesota.
The Timberwolves are 6-8, pending the outcome of Friday night's game in Los Angeles against the Clippers. Minnesota is led by power forward Kevin Love and rookie point guard Ricky Rubio.
Jazz coach Tyrone Corbin called the Timberwolves a "... good young team. They're playing hard. They're getting better with each other. They started off kind of rocky, the first four or five games. But they've figured it out since then. They're playing a lot better basketball. I mentioned to our guys we can't take these guys for granted. They are going to come in and compete."
