The Slamdance Film Festival has announced eight more films for its slate, in the special screening categories.

They are:

Special Screenings: Narrative

• “Holiday Road” » Thirteen filmmakers share credit in this comedic anthology, about America’s 12 most recognized holidays. The cast includes Wendi McLendon-Covey (“Bridesmaids”) and Jerry Trainor (“iCarly”).
• “Old Dog” » (China) An old shepherd in Tibet desperately tries to keep his dog from being sold to an urban Chinese dealer. Written and directed by Pema Tseden.
• “Unconditional” » (United Kingdom) A charming loan shark (Christian Cooke) offers love, under a very severe condition, to teenage twins (Melanie Hill, Harry McEntire). Directed by Bryn Higgins; written by Jo Fisher.

Special Screenings: Documentary

• “Neil Young Journeys” » The third in director Jonathan Demme’s series of concert films featuring Neil Young, this time with intimate performances last summer at Toronto’s Massey Hall.
• “No Room for Rockstars” » Director Parris Patton profiles four musicians on the Vans Warped Tour.
• “Terra Blight” » Director Isaac Brown shows what most of us never consider: The life cycle of a computer, from manufacturing to disposal — and the growing toxic waste problem of discarded electronics.
• “Wild in the Streets” » (United Kingdom/United States) Slamdance co-founder Peter Baxter directs (and, with Jay Nelson, co-writes) this look at an English town whose denizens play and root for an ancient form of football — a precursor to soccer, rugby and American football. Sean Bean (“Game of Thrones”) narrates.
• “With Great Power: The Stan Lee Story” » Directors Will Hess, Nikki Frakes and Terry Dougas profile the legendary founder of Marvel Comics. Interview subjects include directors Roger Corman, Bryan Singer and Kevin Smith, musician Ringo Starr, composer Danny Elfman, comics author Frank Miller, and many actors who have appeared in movies based on Marvel titles: Nicolas Cage, Kirsten Dunst, James Franco, Samuel L. Jackson, Tobey Maguire, Eva Mendes and Seth Rogen.
