Parents are usually telling their kids to stay dry. On Wednesday, the Ogden Nature Center is going to tell them why it’s good to be wet.

Wetlands, that is.

This week’s Wild Wednesdays program is Hiding Habitats: Wetlands and Ponds. Kids and their parents can meet Pueo the short-eared owl and learn about the wetlands that he calls home. They youngsters can play a wetland game and then, with the help of one of our naturalists, venture out on the Nature Center’s trails to look for signs of wildlife in and around the ponds.

Meet at the Visitors Center at 3:30 p.m.
