"Sins of the Father"-- After Anthony DiNozzo, Sr. (Robert Wagner, right) is found in a car with a dead body in the trunk and no memory of the previous night, Gibbs (Mark Harmon, left) must figure out if he is capable of murder on NCIS, Tuesday, Nov. 22 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. If nothing else, the timing of this week's episode of NCIS (7 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2) is sort of odd.

Robert Wagner returns as Tony's father. This time, he wakes up and discovers there's a dead body in the trunk of his car. And he's a murder suspect.

This comes on the heels of the news that the investigation into the 1981 drowning death of Wagner's then-wife, Natalie Wood, has been re-opened.

Despite all the speculation, the police have not named Wagner as a suspect. It's just, well, weird timing.

It's potentially good timing for CBS, which might get a ratings boost. But "NCIS" does so well it doesn't really need much help.
