Matt Brown, a native of West Valley competing at Penn State, had the highest grade-point average among collegiate wrestlers, while Utah Valley was ranked 16th as the National Wrestling Coaches Association announced its annual Division I All-Academic Top 30 Teams and Individual All-Academic Wrestling Team for 2012-13. USA Wrestling says that Iran has pulled out of a dual meet set for Sunday in Los Angeles. The organization said Friday that the Iranian Wrestling Federation told them the team’s schedule has changed and that it has returned to Iran. No further reasons were given for Iran’s departure.
