A Boy Scout was flown to the hospital Thursday afternoon after a tree fell on him at a Scout camp in the Uinta Mountains. Rick Barnes, chief scout executive of the Boy Scouts of America’s Great Salt Lake Council, said strong winds pushed a tree over on the 14-year-old Varsity Scout during the Varsity Big Event at the Hinckley Scout Ranch, about 30 miles south of Evanston, Wyo. Barnes said the boy suffered a head contusion, broken arm and broken leg but that the injuries are not life threatening...
