A woman remained in critical but improving condition Thursday, the day after she was injured in a two-car crash at a Riverton intersection. Unified Police Department Lt. Justin Hoyal said the 54-year-old woman had been listed in extremely critical condition after her westbound white Geo Metro was struck by an eastbound white Ford F-350 pickup truck making a left turn to go north on 2700 West from 12600 South about 9 p.m. Wednesday. Woman critically injured in Riverton crash

A woman suffered critical injuries Wednesday night in a Riverton crash. The 54-year-old woman was going west on 12600 South in her Geo Metro and reached the intersection with 2700 West, where an eastbound Ford F-350 was turning left to go north, said Unified Police Lt. Justin Hoyal. The truck collided with the Geo Metro at 9:03 p.m., trapping the woman inside her car. Emergency responders had to cut the woman out of the vehicle before taking her to the hospital in critical condition, Hoyal said...
