Saratoga Springs police said the crashes occurred about 9:30 p.m. near 1200 W. State Road 73, which is about 2 miles west of the Saratoga Springs Crossroads intersection. Police said the driver of a westbound pickup truck crossed over the center line and struck an eastbound minivan. The impact caused the van to roll, and the driver was ejected, officers said. Tooele County Deputy Keith Borders said the four were driving about midnight near Simpson Springs and Pony Express Road when the male driver lost control of the pickup, over-corrected and rolled it.
