The most high-profile player among the 12 invited to work out for the Utah Jazz on Monday never took a shot or participated in any drill. UCLA shooting guard Shabazz Muhammad attended the audition but could not play because of an ankle injury. His left foot was in a walking boot when he met the media. NBA: Jazz will work out 12, including UCLA’s Shabazz Muhammad

The Utah Jazz will work out 12 players Monday as the team continues preparations for the NBA Draft on June 27. Among the players participating will be UCLA guard Shabazz Muhammad, Duke forward Mason Plumlee, Michigan guard Tim Hardaway Jr. and Missouri guard Phil Pressey. Muhammad averaged 17.9 points per game last season as a freshman with the Bruins. He is considered a likely lottery pick.
