Utah Transit Authority spokesman Remi Barron confirmed that a man walking down the middle of the tracks was hit by one of the commuter trains. The accident occurred near where the tracks cross 2300 North on the border between Sunset and Clinton. “It appears to be a suicide,” Barron said.
