Los Angeles County firefighters got the call around 1:30 p.m. Monday and doused the fire in about a half-hour. The top of the lift hill on the 125-foot-tall wooden coaster collapsed after flames charred it. Magic Mountain says workers were disassembling the ride at the time of the fire.
