After putting the kids to bed and lying in the dark with the cool evening breezes drifting through the house, we hear from some self-appointed people who get themselves all thrilled by firing off 10 or 20 really awesome kabooms, usually around 10 or 11 p.m. Sometimes they go the extra mile and celebrate our independence at 2 or 3 in the morning.
