Through Monday, Kohl's is having a storewide clearance sale. Stores are taking an extra 40 percent off clearance prices, and you also can use a savings pass from the Kohl's site HERE to save another 15 percent. If you have one of the Kohl's coupons from the newspaper last week worth $10 off a $30 purchase, you can use that, too. I found a lot of bargains at my local store in all departments.

Parents may sign their children up HERE for free workshops at Lowe's home improvement stores. Children can make a race car on Feb. 25 or a carnival game on March 10. Workshops start at 10 a.m. I post information about these clinics weeks in advance because they fill up fast and registration is required.

Tracy Aviary, an eight-acre attraction in Salt Lake City that’s home to more than 400 birds, offers free admission every Wednesday through February. The aviary still charges a $1 per person fee on free-admission days, which goes to the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Northern Utah to help rehabilitate injured birds. A few readers e-mailed to say they were having trouble printing that high-value Michaels coupon worth $5 off a purchase of at least $5. (You can go HERE to print it.) Each were able to print the coupon after switching web browsers. (I used Firefox and it printed just fine.) Switching browsers often works when you are having trouble printing a coupon off the Internet.

Don't forget, the coupon is good only at Michaels arts and crafts stores on Friday, Feb. 3 and Saturday, Feb. 4. I used it this morning and paid 40 cents for a purchase of art supplies that totaled $5.40.

Walgreens is offering a printable store coupon on its Facebook page. Go HERE to "like" Walgreens and vote in the Walgreens daily poll. After you do those two things, you'll be able to print the coupon.
