The Big Sky Conference's Final Four starts Tuesday night, with the league's one NCAA tournament bid up for grabs.
For the third time in four years under coach Randy Rahe, Weber State won the regular-season title.
The Wildcats meet No. 6 seed Portland State, and second-seeded Northern Colorado faces No. 3 Montana in the semifinals at the Dee Events Center.
"In a one-bid league, it's now or never, that's for sure," Rahe said. "That makes it ultra-important. But it's ultra-fun, too. The intensity is exciting."
The semifinals will be televised on Altitude. The championship game will be on ESPN2.
Who's hot
Northern Colorado has won seven of its last eight games, including four straight since No. 2 scorer Devon Beitzel broke his ankle in an 81-76 loss at Weber State on Feb. 13.
Who's not
Montana blasted Northern Arizona to reach the semifinals. But the Grizzlies are 2-2 in their last four games, including losses to Eastern Washington and Montana State.
Who's on the bubble
There is no bubble in the one-bid Big Sky Conference. But Weber, Northern Colorado and Montana could get bids to the NIT or College Basketball Invitational.
