Utah's gymnastics team maintained its spot at No. 1 after the 196.85 it scored Friday at home in a win against BYU, SUU and Texas Woman's University. The Utes have a 196.73 average, the best in the country, followed by UCLA (196.48), Georgia (196.475), Stanford (196.3) and Alabama (196.265). The Utes are ranked No. 1 in the vault (49.29) and uneven bars (49.295). Kristina Baskett is ranked No. 1 in the vault (9.915). Daria Bijak is ranked No. 2 on the uneven bars (9.9).

Georgia posted a season-high 197.25 in a win over Auburn (195.925), while the upset of the week was LSU's 196.8-195.825 win over Florida.

Utah coach Greg Marsden anticipates making some changes to his lineup tonight when the Utes compete at Utah State.

Sophomore Jacquelyn Johnson is expected to compete for the first time as she breaks into the floor lineup. The rest of the floor lineup will include Gael Mackie, Jamie Deetscreek, Kyndal Robarts and Baskett. Regular all-around competitor Nina Kim has a sore knee and will only compete on the bars and beam, while Annie DiLuzio has a sore foot and will just vault. Bijak will compete only on the bars and beam to rest her knees.

Tonight will be the first time for Mackie to compete in the all-around.

The Utes drew 15,080 fans for Friday's meet, their fourth-highest attended meet in school history. So far the Utes are averaging 13,704 fans this season, which puts them on pace to break their record average of 13,164 set in 1993. The Utes have three home meets left against No. 16 Michigan (Feb. 20), No. 24 Arizona State (March 6) and No. 9 Florida (March 13).
