RUSTON, La. - Daniel Porter rushed for 114 yards and a touchdown to lead Louisiana Tech to a 45-38 victory over Utah State on Saturday.
Porter's 22-yard TD run gave the Bulldogs (6-4, 4-2) a 42-38 lead with 8:41 remaining in the game after USU (2-9, 2-5) had rallied to take a 38-35 lead on Diondre Borel's 13-yard run with 11:30 left.
The Aggies trailed 35-17 before beginning their comeback in the third quarter. Borel scored on an 11-yard run and Robert Turbin, who rushed for 99 yards and three touchdowns, scored on a 2-yard run before Borel's second TD run gave Utah State a three-point lead.
