Posted: 10:12 AM- A Beaver County man has been charged with attempted murder after a stabbing last week.
The attack happened July 10 in Milford.
Witnesses told sheriff's investigators the two men had been drinking and arguing throughout the day, according to court documents.
During an argument on a lawn, one man pulled a knife and stabbed the other in the chest, witnesses told the investigators. The 38-year-old suspect fled but deputies found him north of town, according to court documents.
The attempted murder charge is a first-degree felony punishable by up to life in prison. The defendant also is charged with lesser felonies of assault and driving under the influence.
