Posted: 1:43 PM- Kicker Steve Azar missed a pair of extra-point attempts last Saturday that could have proved costly if the Utah Blaze were not securely ahead in their 67-50 win over the Kansas City Brigade.
However, the missed kicks have cost Azar his job.
The Blaze cut Azar earlier this week, and will replace him with the kicker he replaced, Steve Videtich, in time for Saturday's game at EnergySolutions Arena (7 p.m., Ch. 14) against the Colorado Crush.

"We chose [Videtich] over Azar is basically what it came down to," White said.
Azar was 7 for 9 on his PAT tries against the Brigade, but did not attempt a field goal. In nine games, the former Northern Illinois kicker made 63 of 68 extra-point attempts and was 2-for-6 on field goal attempts.
The Blaze also released second-year lineman Myniya Smith, although White said
