Mountain America Credit Union has named Christi Griffis manager of the Roosevelt branch. Griffis has worked for Mountain America for eight years.

Brad Mortensen has been named vice president for advancement at Weber State University. Since January 2007, Mortensen has served as interim vice president, but the school's board of trustees voted to remove the word interim from his title. He was selected from a pool of national candidates for the position.

Blair Kent has been named administrator and chief executive officer of Intermountain Healthcare's new Riverton Hospital, which is scheduled to open in fall 2009. Kent is an operating officer at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray.

The law firm of Parr Waddoups Brown Gee & Loveless has announced that Victor A. Taylor has been selected as president. Taylor is a real estate attorney with experience in real estate development and finance. Rachel Child has joined the firm as marketing assistant. She previously worked for Jones Waldo as a marketing coordinator.

Elizabeth Bradley-Wilson has been named assistant director of the Utah Heritage Foundation. She joined the foundation in 1999 and has been running the Revolving Fund Loan Program, which provides property owners with low-interest loans to restore and rehabilitate significant historical or architectural properties in the state.

David G. Edwards, a Logan-based podiatrist, has been named to the board of trustees of the American Podiatric Medical Association. He will serve a two-year term.

The civil engineering firm Nolte Associates Inc. has announced that Jon Sebba has been named an associate. He will have partial ownership, serve on Nolte's Leadership Council and help manage operations and planning. Sebba has more than 37 years of experience in civil engineering, and is an engineering manager and water forum leader in the firm's Salt Lake City office.

Marie-Helene Glon has been appointed honorary French consul for Utah.

Ririe-Woodbury Dance Co. has announced the appointment of Charlotte Boye- Christensen as artistic director and Jena Woodbury as associate managing director. Boye-Christensen has served as associate artistic director since 2002, and Woodbury has worked with the company about 20 years.

Amy Esser has been named HR Executive of the Year by the Utah Technology Council. Esser is the human resource manager for Salt Lake City-based MasterControl Inc., a provider of document management software.

Holland & Hart announced that Marc Porter has joined the firm's Salt Lake City office. He will represent startup and growing companies in business transactions.
