Flying thumbs at USU may set Guinness record

Posted: 8:16 AM- LOGAN -- As thumb-wrestling chains go, this one may prove to be a Guinness world record.

The Herald-Journal reports today that despite snow, 111 Utah State University students formed the thumb-wrestling lineup on the school's Quad Wednesday afternoon.

For the next five minutes the stubby digits were flying.

Entrepreneur Club President Brad Larkin told the Herald-Journal that he must now submit photos, sign-up sheets and other proof of the event to Guinness.
