Posted: 12:14 PM- A Union Pacific train going about 20 mph hit tractor-trailer in downtown Clearfield on Monday morning, closing roads for an hour and a half.

Police said the truck was on the train tracks, at 700 S. 500 West, when the truck driver heard a train whistle and accelerated to get out the way. The train struck the trailer, spilling plastic beads in the roadway. No injuries were reported.

The truck driver told police his view was obscured by sunlight.
