Posted: 1:56 PM- In a court document filed as part of her request for a temporary separation from her husband, Kristy Ragsdale alleged her husband David, arrested for her murder earlier this month, had an "adulterous affair."
"My neighbors and my ecclesiastical leader returned calls to me during a recent vacation and told me that my husband's mistress was sleeping over at our house, parking her car outside and neither of them making an effort to hide it," stated court documents filed in 4th District Court.
The 30-year-old Lehi woman, who allegedly was gunned down by her husband Jan. 6 in front of her mother and church members at an LDS ward house, also asked the court to allow her to remain on her husband's health insurance coverage. Her request asked that she be granted the couples' home and furnishings and temporary alimony and child support in excess of $12,500 a month.
"I need to be separated from the Respondent while we attempt to reach a decision on this important matter," the affidavit states.
Witnesses told police that David Ragsdale shot his wife multiple times in the head, back and torso. He was arrested on suspicion of aggravated murder, a potential capital offense. David Ragdale has not yet been charged in his wife's death.
