Posted: 2:05 PM- Offensive lineman Hamani Stevens, a four-star recruit from Hemet (Calif.) High School who is rated as the top center in the country by at least one national recruiting service, is still considering BYU, he told The Salt Lake Tribune earlier today.

"My recruiting is going pretty well," Stevens said. "I am down to the last two schools - BYU and Oregon."

After visiting BYU on Jan. 12-13, Stevens said his final three were BYU, Oregon and Arizona State, with UCLA still slightly in the picture because he was waiting to hear from new Bruins coaching staff.

However, he said Wednesday he has "pretty much eliminated" ASU and UCLA and is "half and half" between BYU and Oregon.

Stevens, 6-foot-2, 290 pounds, said he is in Fullerton, Calif., this week preparing for Saturday's SoCal Bowl, an all-star game pitting the best players in Southern California.

Stevens said he will probably announce his college choice immediately after the game.
