Posted: 7:48 AM- Communications fraud charges have been filed in connection with alleged real estate fraud in an affluent Provo neighborhood.

KUTV reports that Tuesday's charges were filed against two alleged investors - including one of the station's sports reporters, Dave Fox - who purportedly were used to purchase homes in the scheme.

In March, Brad Kitchen of Sequoia Capital was arrested after being accused of 'flipping' homes in the river bottoms area of Provo in order to over-inflate the prices.

KUTV reports that now Fox and Mark Atkin have entered pleas in abeyance for 'failing to occupy the residence.'

The plea brings a $500 fine and 3-year probation.
