Police said the men, one holding a silver handgun, approached four employees of the Holladay Center Cinema 6 as they changed the marquee sign outside. The men forced the employees back into the theater at 1945 E. Murray Holladay Road and cleaned out cash registers.

The men disabled the theater's telephones and took the employees' cellular phones before leaving, police said. They got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Both robbers wore black T-shirts. One wore green shorts and another wore black short, police said.
