Amazing Race

Sundays, 8 p.m., KUTV Ch. 2

What happened?

The four teams raced around Macau, making noodles and taking a tethered jump off a tower. The Barbies, Dustin and Kandice, hit the mat first. Oswald and Danny came in last in yet another non-elimination leg, which serves them right, because . . .

. . . they made a nasty deal with the Barbies, taking $45 to put a Yield on rivals Eric and Danielle - who still avoided last place because Oswald and Danny got hopelessly lost. Said Oswald: "Karma bit us in the ass."

American Idol

Tuesdays 7 p.m.; Wednesdays 8 pm. KSTU Ch. 13

What happened?

"Idol Gives Back," but viewers get nothing, as in no results to speak of. The show set aside competition for one week to run a telethon to help children in the U.S. and Africa. So far, it's generated more than $60 million. But they elected not to boot anyone off, which leaves Chris, Phil and LaKisha quaking in their boots for another week.

Poor Jordin Sparks let the tears flow when for a fleeting second she thought she was booted. Joke was on her, but not us, since just about everyone knew they wouldn't send someone home during a telethon.

America's Next Top Model

Wednesdays, 7 p.m., KUCW Ch. 30; encore Sundays, 8 p.m.

What happened?

Not much. This week was one of those episodes that catch us up on everything that has happened. All we got were a few morsels of never-seen footage of the models getting in fights or crying.

Had to come from the disappointed groans of fans who expected to see an episode of someone getting the boot, not a been-there, done-that montage.

Survivor: Fiji

Thursdays, 7 p.m., KUTV Ch. 2

What happened?

The internal politicking continued to heat up with six contestants picking away at the unwanted survivors. After a challenge that was akin to a "Survivor" version of "Battleship," Stacey won the immunity idol, but it was Mookie who lost the vote at tribal council. Uuuuggghh! You sank his battleship.

How about the Best Ouch Moment? During the muddy reward challenge, Kenward "Boo" Bernis popped his knee ligament, forcing him to pop it back in. Yikes!
