Is Easter brunch or dinner too much to handle this year? Many Utah restaurants will be serving special Easter meals this Sunday. Most places require a reservation, so call today. Here is a sampling of what's open and on the menu:

Salt Lake County

Avenues Bakery, 481 E. South Temple, Salt Lake City; 801-746-5626. Brunch served from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. More than a dozen different menu offerings including cinnamon raisin pecan French toast, omelettes, quiche and pancakes. Prices from $2.75 to $9.25.

Bohemian Brewery and Grill, 94 E. 7200 South, Midvale; 801-566-5474. Brunch served 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Eight options including Bohemian crepes, omelets, eggs Benedict, salmon, lamb and chicken paprikas. Prices from $8 to $11.

Boulevard, 2335 E. Murray-Holladay Road, Holladay; 801-274-6999. Seatings from 11 a.m. to noon and 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Menu options include lemon brioche French toast, crab cakes Benedict and the grand dessert buffet. Reservations required; $29.95 for adults and $15.95 for children 12 and under.

Cafe Trio Cottonwood, 6405 S. 3000 East, Holladay; 801-944-8746. Brunch served from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Includes cold buffet of fruits, salads, sliced meats and cheese as well as desserts. Hot entrees include eggs Benedict, omelets, French toast, pancakes and eggs. Adults $21.95; children 6 to 10, $10.95; children 5 and under free. Prices include beverages. Reservations required for groups of 9 or more.

Cafe Trio Downtown, 680 S. 900 East, Salt Lake City; 801-533-8746. A la carte brunch menu offered from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Menu includes regular brunch menu plus specials such as honey-balsamic grilled steak and quiche Lorraine. Prices from $5.95 to $10.95.

Franck's, 6263 S. Holladay Blvd., Holladay; 801-274-6264. Offering a six-course set tasting menu from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Includes mushroom tart, eggs Benedict, asparagus salad, breast of duck, salmon and strawberry lemon crepes. Cost is $39.95 per person. Children's options available for $19.95. Reservation required.

Grand America, 555 S. Main St., Salt Lake City; 801-258-6000. The Easter brunch buffet will be available from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Cost is $49 for adults and $24.50 for children. Children under 5 free. Reservations required.

La Caille, 9565 Wasatch Blvd., Sandy; 801-942-1751. Open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Menu offers eight entrees including Alaskan halibut, beef tenderloin tips, crab Benedict and Welsh rarebit and pork chop. Entrees range from $25 to $36 and include fruit, breads and dessert. Drinks and additional $2. Complimentary "Jelly Bean" buffet for children. Reservations required.

Little America, 500 S. Main St., Salt Lake City; 801-596-5700. Open 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The brunch buffet will include such items as smoked salmon, ceviche, pastas, salads and an omelet station. Cost is $36 for adults and $16 for children ages 5-11. Children 4 and under free.

Log Haven, 6451 E. Millcreek Canyon, Salt Lake County; 801-272-8255. Open noon to 5 p.m. Chef is offering four-course meal with choice of appetizer, salad, entree and dessert buffet. Cost is $34.95 for adults and $18.95 for children 12 and under. Entree choices include roasted lamb sirloin, grilled prime beef medallions, seared Alaskan halibut or roasted chicken. Reservations required.

Pine, 4760 S. 900 East, Murray; 801-288-2211. Open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Choice of entree and dessert from a special holiday menu. Fresh fruit, homemade breads and pastries served family-style to all tables. Cost is $24.95 for adults and $11.95 for children 12 and under.

Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort, Little Cottonwood Canyon; 801-933-2181. Easter brunch served from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Atrium Restaurant and the Aerie, both located in the Cliff Lodge. Reservations recommended.

The Atrium menu includes brioche French toast, eggs Benedict, a waffle station, sushi selection, soup, salads, carved ham, blackened halibut and desserts. Cost is $28.95 for adults and $15.95 for children 6 to 12.

The Aerie buffet offers cheese blintzes, French toast, omelet station, sushi station, soups, salads, roasted meat carving station, a chocolate fountain and desserts. Cost is $35.95 for adults and $19.95 for children 6 to 12.

Tucci's Cucina Italian Restaurant, 515 S. 700 East, Salt Lake City; 801-533-9111. Open noon to 9 a.m. Cost is $20 per person and includes choice of entree, soft drink and one appetizer for every two people. Tax and gratuity included. Entree choices include fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, bruschetta chicken and spaghetti and meatballs.

Tuscany, 2832 E. 6200 South, Holladay; 801-277-9919. Expanded Sunday brunch buffet from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Offerings includes prime rib, roast turkey and ham, made-to-order omelettes, fresh salads, fruits, breakfast means and house-made desserts. Cost is $31.95 for adults and $15.95 for children under 12. Reservations required.

Ogden

Snowbasin Ski Resort, Ogden Canyon; 801-620-1021. Brunch served from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Huntington Room in Earl's Lodge. Includes breakfast items, fresh salads, seafood, several meat selections, pasta and desserts. Cost is $35 for adults and $17.50 for children 12 and under. Reservations required.

Park City

Blue Boar Inn & Restaurant, 1235 Warm Springs Road, Midway; 888-650-1400. A 5-course brunch will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cost is $16-$25 depending on the entree ordered. Reservation required.

Fanny's Grill at the Homestead Resort, 700 North Homestead Drive, Midway, 888-327-7220. Stuffed lamb leg dinner with soup or salad served from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Cost is $16.95.

Grub Steak, 2200 Sidewinder Drive, in Prospector Square, Park City; 435-649-8060. Brunch served from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Menu includes carved meats, cold and hot buffets, made-to-order omelet and crepe station, cheese, breads, salads, fruit and desserts. Price is $22.50 for adults; $9.75 for children under 10. Reservations suggested.

Simon's at the Homestead Resort, 700 N. Homestead Drive, Midway, 888-327-7220. Brunch served from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Cost is $35 for adults; $17.50 for children 6 to 12 and $3 for ages 3 to 5. Reservations required.

Stein Eriksen Lodge, Deer Valley Resort; 435-645-6455. Brunch served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Includes salads, meats and sushi. Chef Raymond will feature a variety of desserts. Cost is $49 for adults and $25 for children. Reservations required.

Provo

Foundry Grill at Sundance Resort, Provo Canyon; 801-223-4220. Brunch served from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Includes cold food buffet, wood-fired meats, sides and baked cookies, cakes, pies and tarts. Cost is $48 per person. Reservations required.
