Posted: 1:43 PM- The Utah Attorney General's Office has determined that records from three Jordan School District closed-session meetings discussing security issues should be public record.

The district, while it "disrespectfully disagrees," will release the records "in the spirit of cooperation," according to a joint release.

The district originally closed the meetings due to a clause in the Utah Open Meetings Act that allows closed meetings to discuss "security deployment."

The Deseret Morning News filed a complaint with the Attorney General's Office, stating the meetings discussed more than allowed under law.

The Attorney General's Office then filed suit.

With the release of the records, the Attorney General's Office will close its case.
