Posted: 1:54 PM- Orem police booked a 28-year-old man into jail Sunday after discovering heroin under his mattress - and inside his rectum. The man called 911 Sunday night after a 22-year-old woman he had invited over went into a seizure.
Police arrived too and searched the home, in the area of 500 West and 1400 South, finding two small balloons of heroin under a mattress, said police Lt. Doug Edwards.
"Shoot! Forgot about them," the suspect reportedly told police.
On the way to jail, the man acknowledged he also had hidden some heroin in his rectum.
At the jail, officers recovered three balloons from his rectum. He was then taken on a "quick trip to the hospital and a Fleet enema produced the rest of what he'd tried to hide," Edwards said.
