Posted: 2:52 PM- The Jazz still have 16 players on their roster, and plan to keep it that way for another couple of days, coach Jerry Sloan said before directing practice Friday morning.

Opening Night rosters must be turned in to the league by 4 p.m. MST on Monday, with a maximum of 15 players on them. For the Jazz, that means cutting at least one and perhaps as many as three players.

Twelve Jazz players have guaranteed contracts, so the four vulnerable players this weekend are forwards Hiram Fuller and Roger Powell, and guards Brian Chase and Dee Brown.

Sloan said the team is still considering its options, and has no plans to announce any cuts on Friday.
