Because the Fourth of July falls on a Tuesday this year, you could watch fireworks somewhere in Utah on Saturday, Monday and the holiday itself. Here's a list of festivities around the state.

Brighton - Tuesday: breakast, live music and parade, beginning at top of Big Cottonwood Canyon, 7:30 a.m.; $5-$7, proceeds donated to charity. Cedar City - Tuesday: downtown parade, 10 a.m.; activities at Cedar City Park; fireworks at dusk. Clearfield - Tuesday: 5K run/2-mile walk at 7 a.m., 55 S. State St.; activities at Fisher Park include an emergency-preparedness fair from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; rides, entertainment, 11 a.m. to sundown; "Annie Warbucks" at the Bicentennial Park Amphitheatre, 7:30 p.m.; fireworks, 10 p.m. Centerville - Monday: children's parade, 6:30 p.m.; free concert in Founder's Park with the Joe Muscolino Band, 8 to 10 p.m.; fireworks, 9:45 p.m.; Tuesday: breakfast in the park, 7 a.m.; 5K run and children's races, 7 a.m.; parade on Main Street, 9 a.m.; art exhibit, quilt display, outdoor festival and entertainment, 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.; police auction at Founder's Park, 1 p.m. Delta - Tuesday: parade, talent show, games, booths, demolition derby and fireworks at dusk. East Millcreek - Tuesday: pancake breakfast, 7 a.m.; parade at 2700 E. Evergreen Ave., 9 a.m.; flag ceremony followed by entertainment, 10 a.m.; bring blankets or lawn chairs. Farr West - Tuesday: activities at Farr West park include a 5K run and parade in the morning, booths, children's races and a volleyball tournament; Greek souvlaki dinner, 5 to 8 p.m.; fireworks, 10 p.m. Gunnison - Monday: community dinner, entertainment, auction, youth dance and fireworks; Tuesday: parade with games, food and a car show at the city park. Hyrum - Today: concert in the park, 8 p.m.; fireworks at 10 p.m. followed by a youth dance at the Elite Hall, 10:30 p.m. to midnight; Saturday: youth parade at the city square, 10:30 a.m.; Sunday: patriotic program at 7 p.m. with music by the Imperial Glee Club and guest speaker Utah Attorney General Mark Shurtleff; Tuesday: freedom run at the Blacksmith Fork Power Plant, 6:15 a.m.; parade at noon; booths, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; entertainment, 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.; Hyrum Hornets baseball game at East Park, 7 p.m. Kanarraville - Tuesday: parade at Cobble Crest, 10 a.m.; patriotic program, 10:30 a.m.; sports, 5 p.m.; Family Night in the Park, 8 p.m. Kaysville - Sunday: patriotic devotional in the Davis High School auditorium with U.S. Rep. Lehi - Tuesday: concessions at Electric Park begin at 7 p.m. with live entertainment at 8 p.m.; fireworks, 10 p.m. Logan - Monday: "Imagine," a program commemorating the Beatles, Utah State University Romney Stadium, 8:30 p.m.; fireworks at dusk; tickets are $6, $2 for children 12 and under. South Salt Lake - Tuesday: food, crafts, exhibits, puppet shows, treats and music, Pioneer Craft House, 3271 S. 500 East, 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; free. West Jordan - West Jordan Stampede & Celebration, Veteran's Memorial Park, Saturday, Monday and Tuesday. PRCA Rodeo all three nights at 7; fireworks all three nights with the biggest show on Tuesday. Saturday: free Peter Breinholt concert, with an outdoor screening of "The Goonies." Tuesday: dedication ceremony for the West Jordan Military Service Monument with keynote speakers Sens. Orrin Hatch and Bob Bennett at Veterans Memorial Park, 7800 S. 1985 West, 1 p.m.; outdoor screening of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" and fireworks at dusk. West Bountiful - Saturday: activities at West Bountiful City Park, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.; parade, 6 p.m. West Point - Monday: fireworks at dark; Tuesday: parade, 8:30 a.m., with an F-16 flyover.
