Politics! I give up.
After years of telling us that government is too big and that the private sector is the right place to conduct business, Rep. Rob Bishop is now flip-flopping. Yes, flip-flopping big time. President Barack Obama wants to shift NASA work to private contractors, and Bishop says, "This is going to put us behind the Russians and Chinese in space exploration" ("Hundreds of Utah jobs at risk," Tribune, Feb. 2). Sen. Bob Bennett says this move will "put us at a global competitive disadvantage." Where has this line of thinking been during the debates over health care?
