Feild rides again at National Finals Rodeo

Kaycee Feild of Elk Ridge finished second in the bareback event during Round 4 of the National Finals Rodeo on Sunday night.

Royce Ford of Briggsdale, Colo., won the round with a score of 87. Feild was second with an 86. He earned $13,546 and remains first in the average standings.

In saddle bronc, Jesse Kruse of Great Falls, Mont., won Round 4. Reigning world champion Cody Wright of Milford earned $7,188 with a fourth-place finish. He remains third in the average.

In tie-down roping, Cody Ohl of Hico, Texas, was the fourth-round winner with a time of 6.6 seconds. Clint Robinson of Spanish Fork finished seventh with a time of 9.0 seconds, but he remains the average leader.

In the bull riding, Bobby Welsh of Gillette, Wyo., won Round 4 with a score of 89. Payson's Steve Woolsey did not score.

Other fourth-round winners included Lee Graves at Calgary in steer wrestling and Cassie Moseley of Clovis, N.M., in barrel racing.

In team roping, Nick Sartain of Alva, Okla., and Kollin VanAhn of Durant, Okla., tied with Travis Tryan of Billings and Michael Jones of Stephensville, Texas.
