It was a huge Saturday night for Utah cowboys at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.

They hit the jackpot.

Clint Robinson of Spanish Fork won Round 3 in the tie-down roping, Cody Wright of Milford won the saddle bronc event and Kaycee Feild of Elk Ridge finished in a tie for third in bareback riding.

Robinson posted a time of 7.3 seconds to win the round and collect $17,139.

He also strengthened his hold on the lead in the average standings, where he is now two full seconds ahead of second-place Tuf Cooper.

In the saddle bronc, Wright won Round 3 with a score of 86.5.

Like Robinson, he earned $17,139 for his victory, which moved him all the way up to third in the average standings.

Wright is the reigning world saddle bronc champion.

In bareback, Feild tied for third in Round 3 with a score of 84.

He earned $7,279 and increased his lead in the average standings with combined score of 255.5.

The only Utah cowboy who struggled was bull rider Steve Woolsey of Payson.

Ranked second in the world coming into the National Finals, Woolsey is 0-for-3 so far after failing to complete his ride in Round 3.

Woolsey might be showing some signs of rustiness. Because of a torn ligament in his foot suffered at a rodeo in Tremonton in August, he missed the final three months of the regular season.

His first bull ride since the injury was on opening night of the National Finals.

Robinson, Wright win their events and Feild places third.
