Salina boy, 17, drowns in reservoir

A teenager drowned Thursday in a reservoir in central Utah.

Rordan Bumgardner, 17, of Salina, was swimming with four friends at Palisade Reservoir. He was swimming toward the docks when he began struggling, according to Utah State Parks officials.

Sanpete County search and rescue located Bumgardner about 30 minutes after a 911 call.
